Ancient teachings for the modern world
I have been teaching yoga for almost 50 years. Although I am now a free-lance yogi, I worked with the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres for 26 years and directed centres in New York, Toronto, London, New Delhi and the Himalayas.
I also hold an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), University of London. In addition to studying, teaching and writing, I’ve spent time in the Himalayas, focusing on my personal practice
I’m based in London and travel frequently to teach. I also write books on various aspects of yoga that otherwise don’t receive much attention. Until recently, I organised pilgrimages to India. In Dec of this year, I will be teaching at the Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham Ashram in Amboli, just outside of Goa.
I hope you will be in touch if you are interested in deepening your own practice, feel you need some personal mentoring and/or would like to find ways of living a more yogic lifestyle.
With best wishes
“ I always enjoy learning from Swami Saradandana, her style of teaching is an inspiring combination of clearly explained theory with a firm foundation of consistent practice, both built upon a wealth of experience. Learning under her tutorage motivates perseverance in the practice.”
Anneka, yoga practitioner & teacher, Dundee & Perth, Scotland
"I would just like to say how much I enjoyed the workshops, meeting new friends and how much I got out of your teachings
a true inspiration. Thank you."
